Service Description: Falls Prevention
A 12-week, group-based program to reduce the incidence of falls and falls related injuries. This program includes two sessions per week. An active exercise class to increase
strength and improve balance. Each class includes an educational piece on falls risk factors and solutions.

General Exercise Programs
Group exercise classes that cover all facets of fitness, geared towards the senior population. Working through chair-based exercises, participants will improve strength, flexibility and balance. Various equipment is used to achieve these goals including resistance bands, small hand weights and exercise balls.

Parkinson’s Group Exercise
A weekly exercise class to promote strength, flexibility and balance for participants living with Parkinson’s. Education on the benefits and importance of exercise is incorporated into each class. Exercise is graduated in level and intensity.
