Service Description: Provides mental wellness services that are culturally safe for all members of the urban community who self identify as having Aboriginal ancestry.

Services include:
  • Individual counseling services available for children and youth ages 6-24 and adult counseling services for those ages 25+.
  • Mental Health Youth Patient Navigation Services. This services is available to youth and young adults between the ages of 15-24. Assistance with transitioning from youth to adult services, advocacy, navigation of health care and community services, accompaniment to medical appointments on request for support, Provide pathways to promote healing through a holistic approach (physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual) and Assist with social determinants of health that impact an individuals mental health (i.e. identification, housing, food security, life skills) and more.

Application: Self-referral is highly encouraged and can be done by contacting ext 215 and leaving a message. A worker will call back to schedule an intake screening appointment
Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Aboriginal people (First Nations, Metis, Inuit) and their families or individuals who self-identify as connected to Aboriginal heritage that are involved in the health system
