Service Description: Adult day program * social, recreational, and therapeutic activities for people with Alzheimer's disease and other related dementia in a group setting for part of the day * helps to support family caregivers who provide day-to-day care

Provides specialized therapeutic, social and recreational activities:
  • wheelchair accessible
  • secure environment
  • maximizes client independence
  • caregiver respite
  • programs adapt to changing abilities
  • builds on client strengths

Provides Support and Education services to caregivers in the Halton Region:
  • support groups
  • dementia information series for caregivers twice a year
  • resource library of books, videos, fact sheets

Fees: $23 per day * registration fee, no eligible person will be denied services because of inability to pay
