Service Description: Adult day program * social, recreational, and therapeutic activities for older adults in a group setting for part of the day * helps to support family caregivers who provide day-to-day care * program serves medically stable older adults living at home * general services include:
  • meals
  • foot care
  • blood pressure and weight monitoring

Services for an additional fee:
  • foot care
  • hair care
  • paraffin wax therapy (to soothe muscle and joint pain)
  • whirlpool bathing

Examples of stimulating activities are:
  • crafts
  • bingo
  • gardening
  • reminiscence activities - using photos, videos, artifacts and stories to spark conversation and memories
  • music programs
  • pet visiting
  • crossword and jigsaw puzzles
  • travelogues - exploring world destinations through photos, videos, maps and discussion

Fees: $35.35 per day * subsidy available for eligible participants
