Service Description: Provides conversation group therapy for people with aphasia and adult day program for people with aphasia, a communication disorder caused by stroke or an acquired brain injury * sessions are facilitated by speech language pathologists and communicative disorders assistants with the support of trained volunteers and students * support groups offered on occasion

Halton-Peel Community Aphasia Programs are social communication groups for people living with acquired communication disorders
We educate the community about aphasia and provide training and support to family members, friends, and caregivers and also enhance the communication skills and quality of life of people with aphasia using a Life Participation Approach to Aphasia (LPAA)
