Service Description: A nonprofit organization that raises money and allocates funds locally to support its community.

Pools resources, mobilizing the community to create change by:
  • Raising funds in the community to invest in local programs and services that help the community
  • Acting as an umbrella for the community by leveraging partnerships with local businesses and leaders to maximize the ability to work together to achieve common goals
  • Striving to make the task of program delivery easier for non-profits so that they don't have to worry about fundraising and ultimately lowering their organization’s administrative and fundraising costs

Consults with the people in the community to determine pressing issues. Currently investing in the following identified priorities:
  • Healthy People, Strong Communities
  • All That Kids & Families Can Be
  • From Poverty to Possibility

Application: Application by agencies for annual grants is necessary. One-time Special Projects may also be funded by application.
