Service Description: Provides community-based programs and services to adults and youth in the fields of justice, prevention, employment and education throughout the Niagara Region

Programs include:

  • Bail Verification and Supervision
  • Adult Community Service Order
  • Adult Diversion
  • Direct Accountability
  • Justice Services Volunteer Program
  • Intermittent Community Work
  • Non-Residential Attendance Centre


RISE (Reducing Incidences of Suspensions and Expulsions)
  • provides education structure and supervision to youth suspended or expelled from DSBN schools
  • ensures the opportunity to continue education

Supervised Alternative Learning (SAL)
  • offered in partnership with the Niagara Catholic District School Board and the District School Board of Niagara
  • non-academic programming for students who have been suspended or expelled
  • includes sports and arts programs
  • transportation is funded

Project Rewind (Restore Events With Integrity Negotiation and Dignity)
  • school-based restorative justice program
  • uses restorative conferences to address issues such as bullying, racial and cultural confrontation, relationship difficulties and harassment


  • offered in partnership with the Prevent Challenge foundation
  • provides money in response to requests from the DSBN to at risk youth and families
