Services offered:
- Emergency and Disaster Services (may include emergency lodging, reception and information, emergency food, emergency clothing, personal services and family reunification)
- First Aid and CPR courses (Courses develop vital life-saving knowledge and skills essential for those looking to meet a variety of workplace requirements up to professional first responders, become a babysitter, learn about psychological first aid training, or become a Red Cross instructor)
- Ontario Friendly Calls Program * call 1-833-979-9779 (free service, 9am-5pm weekdays) * matches people over the age of 18 with trained Red Cross personnel who connect with them regularly to check in, provide emotional support, encourage healthy coping strategies, and suggest well-being resources and community connections to other existing services

Ontario Friendly Calls Program
- Friendly Calls Program is available nationwide and registration is through email only * telephone calls are made on a regular basis by trained Red Cross volunteers who provide supportive listening, social interaction, emotional support, encourage healthy coping strategies, and suggest well-being resources and community connections to other existing services to the call recipients * home and community care clients over the age 65 are prioritized, but this service is extended to any adult who may benefit from a friendly call to help reduce anxiety, depression, or loneliness * calls can range from a two-minute safety check-in to a longer social chat
